Ans: LoungeKey is a global airport lounge access program linked to premium credit and debit cards, offering Cardmembers access to airport lounges worldwide.

Q. What is changing in the lounge access program?
Ans: From 01 June 2026, the international airport lounge access benefit for City Bank Visa Infinite Credit Cards will migrate from Priority Pass to LoungeKey.

Q. Why is City Bank migrating to LoungeKey?
Ans: LoungeKey offers a digital-first lounge access experience, allowing Cardmembers to access airport lounges worldwide using their Visa Infinite Credit Card without the need for a separate membership card.

Q. Will my complimentary lounge visits change?
Ans: No. Cardmembers will continue to receive 8 complimentary lounge visits per calendar year (including guest visits).

Q. What will happen to my Priority Pass membership?
Ans: Priority Pass membership will no longer be valid from 01 June 2026.

Q. Do I need to register for LoungeKey?
Ans: Registration is not mandatory. Cardmembers can access lounges by presenting their City Bank Visa Infinite Credit Card.
However, they may optionally register on the LoungeKey website or mobile app to explore lounge locations and manage access.

Q. Do I need a separate LoungeKey membership card?
Ans: No. A physical LoungeKey membership card is not required.

Q. Do I need to endorse (TQ) my Visa Infinite Credit Card for lounge access?
Ans: Yes. Your Visa Infinite Credit Card must be endorsed and enabled for international transactions at the time of visiting an international airport lounge.

Q. Will any transaction be performed during a lounge visit?
Ans: Yes. To verify Cardmember eligibility, an authorization transaction of USD 3.25 will be performed as an international online transaction each time a lounge is accessed.
This is a temporary authorization and will be automatically reversed. It will not be charged to the Cardmember’s account. If a Cardmember registers on the LoungeKey website or mobile app, an additional USD 1.00 authorization may be placed. This will also not be settled or reflected in the statement.

Q. How many lounges can I access through LoungeKey?
Ans: LoungeKey provides access to 1,800+ airport lounges worldwide.

Q. What happens after I use my complimentary visits?
Ans: After the 8 complimentary visits are utilized, any additional visit will be charged to the credit card at the applicable LoungeKey rate.

Q. Will guest visits be counted within the complimentary visits?
Ans: Yes. Guest visits are included within the total 8 complimentary visits per calendar year.

Q. How can I find available lounges?
Ans: Cardmembers can find participating lounges via the LoungeKey website or mobile app by searching by airport, city, or country.

Q. Can I access lounges in Bangladesh using LoungeKey?
Ans: LoungeKey access is primarily available for international airport lounges outside Bangladesh. Access within Bangladesh depends on individual lounge participation, and charges may apply.

Q. What should I present at the lounge for access?
Ans: Please present:
- Your City Bank Visa Infinite Credit Card
- A same-day boarding pass
- A valid passport (if required)

Q. Will I be able to access the lounge if my card is declined?
Ans: No. Lounge access will only be granted if the card is valid, active, and successfully authorized.
Please ensure:
- Your card is active
- International transactions are enabled
- Travel quota endorsement is available

Q. Can Supplementary Cardmembers access lounges?
Ans: Yes. Supplementary Cardmembers may access participating lounges using their own card. However, their visits will not be counted within the primary Cardmember’s 8 complimentary visits. Each visit will be charged at USD 35.

Q. What happens if I exceed my complimentary visits?
Ans: Once the 8 complimentary visits are exhausted, each additional visit will be charged at USD 35.

Q. Can lounge access be used for domestic flights?
Ans: LoungeKey access is primarily available for international airport lounges outside Bangladesh. Access within Bangladesh depends on lounge participation, and charges may apply.
