City Bank and Dhaka Dhaka Water Supply and Sewerage Authority (Dhaka WASA) has recently signed a utility bill collection agreement under which City Bank will provide state-of-the-art automated solutions to Dhaka WASA and facilitate utility bill collection through City Banks selected branches and internet banking platform with real-time information connectivity. Sohail R. K. Hussain, MD & CEO, City Bank and Engr. Taqsem A Khan, MD & CEO, Dhaka WASA signed the agreement on behalf of their organizations.

Sheikh Mohammad Maroof, DMD & Head of Wholesale Banking, Tahsin Haq, Head of Cash Management of City Bank and Syed Golam Ahamad, DMD (Finance), S D M Quamrul Alam Chowdhury, DMD (O&M) of Dhaka WASA were also present during the signing ceremony along with other top officials of both organizations. The ceremony ended with discussion on possibilities of further strategic relationship between the two organizations.
